I’m currently working on a new video that will cover the Acclaim “ArtSend” debug cartridge.

Further details on this Proprietary dev cart are below:

The ArtSend cartridge was a proprietary debugging cartridge for N64. Designed and built by Iguana Entertainment, but were used by Acclaim developers during the development of Turok 3, and other games as well.

The cartridge PCB’s have the “Iguana Entertainment” silkscreen markings on them, but the parent company to Iguana was Acclaim Entertainment.

Iguana Entertainment was a video game developer founded in 1991 located in Austin, Texas. The company was acquired by Acclaim Entertainment in 1995 and worked on Turok: Dinosaur Hunter and future Turok titles until ultimately being renamed “Acclaim Entertainment Austin” in 1999.

In 2004 when Acclaim went bankrupt, so did what was left of Iguana.

You can see it was being used here in this Video, showing some of the developers during the making of Turok 3. (Around the 7 min mark.)
